Mercedes CLA (2013 - present)
The saloon market has suffered a bit of a dip in popularity in recent years due to the “crossover takeover”, so Mercedes were always going to have a job on their hands bringing us a saloon that could at least give the segment a fighting chance. The result? The Mercedes CLA. A car that looks like a sleeker yet more aggressive CLS, drives with the panache of an A-Class, and has the practicality of the C-Class saloon. Throw in things like 5 star Euro NCAP safety rating, proficient petrol and diesel engines, and a plethora of in-car technology and you have a very formidable car. It finally makes the saloon look like the cool choice again.
