Audi A6 (04 - 11)
The A6 is one of the best executive saloons on the road. It was the first Audi to have the radiator grille that we’re all so used to these days. It is a strong and stylish car with great practicality and lots of engineering. There is a fine interior with plenty of space and comfortable seating. It can easily seat five; leg/head room is not an issue and there’s a spacious boot. It has a lot of technology and is one of the better cars on the market to hold its value. Handling is excellent on the open road and it feels really well planted. The steering is nicely responsive; the ride is supple on the move and body-lean is minimal on corners. There are some excellent engines available too.
Look out for
• Test all of the electrics and the air con to make sure they are working
